Parts Sales Associate

Status: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Montreal (VSL)

Job Description: Reporting to the Director of National Service, the Parts Sales Associate will be a valuable addition to the National DAS Service team and will demonstrate high capacities of multitasking and meeting short deadlines in a fast-growing emerging market.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Act as first point of contact with customers with the intent of developing trust
  • Communicate expectations for order process, manufacturing timeline, service follow-up to customers
  • Promote sales of HVAC replacement parts and aftermarket products
  • Coordinate equipment start-up and 30, 90 and 180-day customer follow-up satisfaction calls and coordinate with service team as required
  • Maintain strong and warm professional relationships with customers
  • Actively contribute to the long-term customer satisfaction
  • Service multiple clients concurrently, while meeting company and client goals
  • Identify additional sales opportunities among replacement parts sales and other aftermarket products
  • Ensure necessary administrative tasks are completed and other stakeholders in the organization are informed as appropriate
  • Process all work orders / tickets using our service management software
  • Receive customer POs, generate Pick List for Warehouse Attendant and ensure parts are shipped out the same day
  • Monitor, locate and label parts and maintain inventory of stock
  • Advise customers on substitution or modification of parts when identical replacement is not available
  • Advise customers on the use of products or services
  • Perform internal credit checks on customers and notify the management of any holds
  • Support general business needs as necessary.

Education and Experience:

  • Diploma in Manufacturing, Mechanical, HVAC, Refrigerationor any related field
  • 1+ years of experience related to HVAC / manufacturing industry
  • Bilingual in both English and French (written and oral)
  • Experience working with Sales Representatives, Contractors and End Users is preferred
  • Experience working with FieldPoint Application or any other ERP software is preferred
  • Efficient and persuasive communication, both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, and results-driven
  • Works in teams and effectively interacts with other departments
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and under pressure environment
  • Required proficiency in the use of computers, software and business tools
  • Experience in heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) is a strong asset
