Maintenance Clerk
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Montreal, QC
We are looking to expand our team! Dehumidified Air Solutions is home to the industry’s most respected HVAC dehumidification brands: Dectron, PoolPak, Seresco Dehumidifiers, Agronomic IQ and Dehumidified Air Services. These brands create optimal indoor air quality (IAQ) conditions through temperature and humidity control. We are seeking a Maintenance Clerk for our Montreal facility.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Equipment Maintenance (oil and filter change) and minor repairs.
- Indoor Construction (building/renovating offices). Includes drywall installation and finishing, paneling, running water and electrical lines, installing switches, painting, etc.
- Outdoor building maintenance. Lawn care, painting and minor building exterior repairs.
- Manufacturing Area maintenance (erecting racking, relocating production lines and support equipment (conveyors, pivot cranes, work tables, support equipment, etc.).
- Building equipment/part crates for shipping of parts/equipment
- Determining required supplies for projects and ordering required tools and supplies
- Project layout and management of projects including outside labor.
- Driving plant vehicle (pickup and delivery)
- Loading and unloading project materials
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience
- Previous Maintenance experience in manufacturing environment (1-3 years is a plus).
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Fork Lift certification
- Communication skills
- Experience with construction tools and equipment
- Basic math skills
- Blueprint reading
- Basic computer skills ( Microsoft Office a plus)
- Self-starter
- Team player
- Good attendance
