Financial Administration Assistant

Status: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Ottawa (South-East)

Job Description: Reporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will be called to contribute to the manufacturing team, will be able to multitask and meet short deadlines in a changing environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Process expense reports for reimbursement and credit card payment
  • Assist executive management with travel arrangements
  • Prepare executive management expense reports
  • Post customer payments to accounts receivable sub-ledger
  • Perform 3-way match of vendor invoice to receiver and PO
  • Perform clerical tasks such as scanning and electronic filing
  • Generate and distribute reports
  • Provide general office support
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

  • 2- year college diploma with concentration of office administration or accounting
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Microsoft Suite products with moderate proficiency in Excel. Sage 300 experience a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organizational and listening skill
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
